Equinox at ALA Annual 2008

July 2nd, 2008 by

Equinox Booth, ALA Annual 2008

Fourteen demos (four by me, ten by the brilliant and accomplished Shae Tetterton), several programs, many breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, and a million-plus “hello-welcome-to-our-booth” greetings later… what a terrific conference!

(My personal favorite moments came every time I was able to clarify that Evergreen is the software, Equinox is the support & development company, and GPLS/PINES are the founding library organizations that got the Evergreen ball rolling. I have such a love of disambiguation…)

It was great to see Equinox and Evergreen presented so well and so professionally at ALA. I enjoyed your talk as well!

  2. Roger, thanks! We had a great time at ALA. Virtual community is good… face-to-face is even better!

I’ve been administering, designing and building software systems for nearly two decades, and half of that has been with libraries.
