Saugeen Library Consortium Now Live on Equinox Hosted Koha Environment

Duluth, GA —April 2, 2014

Saugeen Library System has officially gone live with their Koha installation, hosted and supported by Equinox. The previously independently-maintained consortium will now have their data hosted at Equinox’s Canadian data centre and receive system administration and support services from Equinox.

The Saugeen Consortium consists of five library systems: Grand Valley Public Library, Grey Highlands Public Library, Hanover Public Library, Shelburne Public Library, and West Grey Public Library. All five libraries received a significant upgrade to Koha 3.14 during their move to Equinox services. This gives library staff and patrons access to lots of exciting new features not available in their previous version.

Equinox Implementation Manager, Galen Charlton, says, “The Saugeen Library Consortium libraries have been long-time users of Koha and active in both the Koha and the Canadian open source library software communities. We are proud to welcome them to the Equinox family.”

The beautiful thing about working for a smaller company like Equinox is you get to grow and change right alongside the company.
